So I hosted Thanksgiving this year and let me just say, I was very nervous! Not because I was hosting, but because I have never cooked a Turkey or Ham, on top of all the other items, and I had to do this in a tiny kitchen and tiny oven where you can cook one thing at a time. Also I was having 8 people in a tiny space, WOW! Anyone who has lived overseas will understand.
So, I had to cook the Turkey in a slow cooker. But, to my astonishment, everything was perfect!!! The food was great. We all had a blast, as you can see above. Starting from left to right there is Lonnie, Matthew & Jennifer, Trisha & Corey, and Kathleen & David.
After dinner we had tea, so Scottish :)
So, clean-up was a task. As you can see 6 people in my kitchen is not ideal, but fun! Corey is doing dishes behind Trisha and me. So during dinner it started snowing, it was beautiful! And it snowed for 7 days straight, but you will see pictures from that on another post.
After everyone left, Lonnie and I went walking up the Royal Mile to the Castle. This is how much the snow covered in 2 hours. Oh yes!
I love it!! So glad to finally see your adventures!
